  • John Joseph Finn
    Jack Finn was the first captain of the Rowville Fire Brigade when it was formed in 1942. Jack was a brick layer by trade who came to live in Rowville in 1930.He built a number of homes in Rowville and also worked on the construction of the Stamford Hotel.He was one of a group who set up the Rowville Drive In Theatre. He also started a number of businesses including the first service station in Rowville (on the corner of Stud and Bergins Roads), The Rowville Caravan Park and the Rowville Tourist Motel.comments Comments (4)
